An Enova switcher provides digital connections (HDMI and Mini DisplayPort) for user-supplied laptops as well as the standard VGA connector. Audio connections are provided as well if needed.

Generally, all of the cables, along with “aux” inputs and electrical outlets, are found in a cable cubby on the top of the instructor station. In rooms without a cable cubby, the cables can be found near the instructor station monitor.

To use these inputs, attach your computer, select “Laptop” from the touch pad, then select from the three connection options: VGA, HDMI, Mini DisplayPort. Select an audio source if needed.

If your VHS tape is playing with poor sound or you hear a regular, pulsing buzz you may be experiencing a tracking error. To adjust the tracking press the channel up or down button on the VCR while the tape is playing. Press each button several times until you find the best setting. Sometimes ejecting and reloading the tape helps as well.
